Principals Welcome

A very warm welcome to the Karuna Montessori Preschool community.

With a high commitment to the Montessori Philosophy and Pedagogy, Karuna proudly offers an education that is founded on the Montessori principles of education and has done so for almost 40 years.

For us Montessorians, guiding children, working collaboratively and in partnership with like-minded colleagues, and families, to build an excellent, supportive and caring Montessori school, where children can truly thrive and find themselves, is a passion.

The patient guidance of our Montessori educators, the support and warmth for our students and spirit of kindness, provides children with a gentle way to learn and ultimately lead to an exemplary 21st century education; one without stress, unnecessary pressure and needless competition found in most schools.

Karuna Montessori Preschool is a place where young minds can grow organically, in an unhurried atmosphere of inquiry and discovery, and where curiosity is fostered as it is the desire to learn. It is an eagerness to explore, discover and figure things out and children at Karuna can have the space and freedom to do so.

I invite you to come on a tour to see our lovely school in action and learn more about Montessori education. In addition, our school website contains plenty of useful information for families to explore what we offer and learn more about the Montessori approach.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
